Father's day morning

Tänä aamuna perheen rakas isä sai nukkua hieman myöhemmin ja äiti ja pikkuapuri keittivät kahvia ja vähän leipoivatkin (muffinsi fontista tuli siinä kiiruussa kyllä aika villi). Paketteihin värkkäilin illalla sydän origameja, jotka voisivat koristaa vaikka kuustakin jouluna! Marimekon lahjapussipaperit olivat taas uusiokäytössä! Lahjuksiksi iskälle tuli pään lämmikettä ja omenagurun tarina. Siivellisen sydän origamin ohje on ihanasta Crease+Fold origami kirjasta, ohjeen voi löytää myös täältä.

This (finnish) father's day morning the daddy got to sleep a bit later while mommy and the little helper prepared coffee and baked a bit too (in the slight hurry the muffin font became quite wild). I folded few origami hearts for the gift packages, they would work nicely as christmas decorations too! The black & white Marimekko gift wrapping bags are in reuse! This daddy got as gift something to warm the dear head in the cold winter and a few pages to read about the life of the fruit guru. This heart origami with wings is from great the Crease+Fold origami book, you can find the instructions also here.
