Nyt voikin virallisesti aloittaa glögi ja piparikauden kun ulkona vihdoin tulee lunta! Aamulla vielä hytistiin vain kylmässä syyssäässä neuvolareissulla kun iltapäivällä vihdoin alkoi sataa lunta niin, että ilta vietettiin koko perheellä pihalla vetäen lapsia pulkassa ja nimellisesti jo tehden ensikertaa pihan lumitöitä!
Tähänpä teemaan sopii aika kivasti nuo Lotta Niemisen S-ryhmälle tälle joululle suunnitteleman "Ensilumi"-malliston tarjotin ja leikkuulauta*, jotka pääsevät tästä päivästä lähtien käyttöön! Olen ihaillut kauan Lotta Niemisen kädenjälkeä ja tämäkin kuvitus on kaunis ja ajaton ja sopii hillitysti ja tunnelmallisesti meidän kotiin luomaan jouluista tunnelmaa.

Now the gingerbread and mulled vine season can officially start as we finally got the proper first snow here in the Helsinki area! In the morning it was just a very cold autumn day but finally this afternoon it started snowing and in the evening we were already enjoying the snow with the kids in outside!
These lovely christmas themed tray and cutting board* are from the seasonal product collection "Ensilumi" (First snow) of the Finnish S-group and designed by one of my favorite Finnish graphic designers Lotta Nieminen. I really like also this series, it has a perfect timeless and stylish christmas mood in it!

DeleteWe are super excited about the first real drop of snow! We need some warmer clothes now :)
ReplyDeleteI know, I really need a new warm winter jacket too, somehow one of my jackets got lost in the moving... Our kids have been thrilled about the snow, too bad they say it might not last much, I can't stand the black and dark weather we still had last week! Lets hope it will snow more soon! :)
